Lowers the minimum age for certain intrastate CDL eligibility to 18 and remove restrictions limiting younger drivers to Category 3 vehicles.

Proposes changes to the state�s commercial driver licensing framework, including lowering the minimum age for certain CDL eligibility to 18 and removing an existing restriction that limits younger commercial drivers to operating only �Category 3� vehicles. The bill would also direct the Hawaii Department of Transportation to update its rules accordingly.
