An electric truck tractor or a combination of an electric truck tractor and a semitrailer must not exceed a maximum gross weight of 82,000 pounds.

Amends the Michigan Vehicle Code to allow an electric vehicle or combination of electric vehicles weighing up to 82,000 pounds to exceed current axle loading and weight load maximums by up to 2,000 pounds. Increases, from 80,000 to 82,000 pounds, the maximum gross weight of a natural gas-powered vehicle or combination of natural gas-powered vehicles that could exceed current axle loading and weight load maximums by up to 2,000 pounds.
