The purpose of this legislation is to provide the bistate approval required to amend the Waterfront Commission Compact. The State of New Jersey enacted into law legislation of identical effect in the form of P.L.2007, c.167, on September 10, 2007. Approximately ninety percent of international maritime commerce in the Port of New York.
