Summary

Requires that CARB tie its clean-truck grants and incentives to labor standards.

n

Issue

Establishes specified labor and workforce standards that a fleet purchaser would be required to meet in order to be eligible to receive incentives for new vehicles under the incentive programs.

Amendments make non-substantive language changes for clarification.

Amendment narrows the definition of “incentive” to mean for the purchase of new drayage and short-haul trucks, as specified. Removes provisions related to workforce standards.
